invisible forces

In a way, science and myth play a comparable role. They both respond to a need of the human mind, as they provide it with an explanatory model for the nature of the world and the forces that govern it.

Even if they are very different, all explanatory systems, science like myth or magic, follow the same principle. It is always about explaining the visible world through the operation of invisible forces and thus of putting your own observations into a meaningful context by means of imagination.
