I sense (myself) in sensing something, something other than myself: a smell, a shape, the roughness or unevenness of a surface, a sound, light waves, a taste, a temperature, moisture, a touch. These things, qualities, intensities, modes and styles are all engendered in relation to what is outside of me. They constitute the relationship to the world, both the relationship of the world to me and of myself to the world.

Ich spüre (mich selbst), wenn ich etwas wahrnehme, etwas anderes als mich: einen Geruch, eine Form, die Rauheit oder Unebenheit einer Oberfläche, einen Klang, Lichtwellen, einen Geschmack, eine Temperatur, Feuchtigkeit, eine Berührung. Diese Dinge, Qualitäten, Intensitäten, Modi und Formate werden alle in der Beziehung auf das, was ausser mir ist, erzeugt. Sie machen die Beziehung zur Welt aus, sowohl das Verhältnis der Welt zu mir und meiner selbst zur Welt.
